Start preparing for your driving test! This program is designed to help aspiring as well as more experienced drivers (teenagers, newcomers, renewal applicants of senior citizens). Tests can be accessed from any computer or mobile device.
With the motto of "everyone can be a safe driver," Driving-Tests provides Rosiclare Memorial Public Library patrons with unlimited access to official state driver's manuals, online practice tests for car, motorcycle and commercial driver's license (CDL), an exam simulator, and a DMV-related FAQ.
JOBS FOR TEENS
There is a new website focused specifically on helping teenagers find jobs. It's free to use and it has very useful information including work permit information, labor laws, jobs for teens by city/state, non-traditional job ideas, and more. You can find it here.

SHARE ON-LINE CATALOG
The Rosiclare Memorial Public Library is part of SHARE. We have access to thousands of books in the Illinois Heartland Library System from all their member libraries. E-books are also available. You can browse, check out, and read titles directly from the Cloud Library app on your device. The Cloud Library works on iPhones, iPads, Android devices 2.2 or higher, Nooks, PCs (Windows 7 and up), Mac computers, and Kindle Fires.
For non-residents (outside the city limits of Rosiclare) the cost for a library card is $37 per family per year.

GENEALOGICAL RECORDS
If you like to research your family tree, come by and study our extensive genealogical resources available including yearbooks, marriage records, cemetery compilations and more.
HISTORICAL RECORDS
Also available at our library are a number of historical reference materials on the region, including materials on fluorspar. We have access to newspapers and census records dating back to the 1800's.
TALKING BOOKS AND BRAILLE BOOKS

The Rosiclare Memorial Public Library offers the following services for the community.
WiFi - We offer free computer access and free wireless internet access. There is a one-hour time limit for computer use unless otherwise approved.
Computer Workstations - All computers are set up with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Printers are also available if needed--25 cents a page.
Copies & Faxes - A copier and fax machine are available for your use. Copies are 25 cents a page and faxes are $1.00 for the first page and $.50 for each additional page.
Notary Available - Have your documents notarized at the library. Cost is $1.00.
Legal Aid Center - The Illinois Legal Aid Center offers free legal information to the community via their website. Information ranging from divorce to lawsuits is available.
